Major Focus of IIC
• Building a vibrant ecosystem to foster innovation and creativity within the institution.
• Encouraging entrepreneurship and start-up culture among students and faculty in arts and sciences.
• Establishing a supportive environment for generating and nurturing innovative ideas.
• Promoting cognitive and analytical abilities to enhance problem-solving and critical thinking. Enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity among students from non-technical disciplines.
Functions of IIC
• Organizing innovation-related workshops, seminars, and events tailored to arts and science disciplines.
• Encouraging students to explore entrepreneurial ventures by connecting them with mentors and industry experts.
• Networking with other innovation councils and organizations to share ideas and best practices.
• Hosting competitions like idea challenges, creative projects, and hackathons for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Highlighting innovative projects in areas such as social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and cultural innovation through an institutional portal.
• Identifying and rewarding unique ideas and sharing success stories to inspire students and staff.
• Supporting the transformation of creative ideas into impactful projects, focusing on social and community-based innovation.
